It's About Time!
Finally!!!!!! Praise the Lord!!!! I finally got my latest chapter written and sent off to my beta reader tonight! It's not much (only 3 pages) but hopefully she can help me fill it out a little bit. Feels so good. Such a weight lifted off of my shoulders right now. I have to give big thanks to Brenda Montemayor who gave me some great words of advice about just working through it and writing even if I know it'd be bad.

Getting Over My Writers Block
I'm finally getting over my writes block so I can start to update my main Vampire Diaries story, which is really good. I haven't been able to write anything since December. The only issue is that the story is Damon/Elena, but the outtake I just wrote for it and posted (what my previous post was about) is Tyler/Elena, and now that's all I want to write. I don't want to write a Damon/Elena story...I want to write Tyler/Elena. Why? I have no idea. Those two clearly will never be together, but I even tweeted about it. That those two would make really damn beautiful babies. Gahhh....my mind is obsessed with the pairing now. I'm afraid that I'm going to force myself to write a Damon/Elena chapter so I can get something posted, but that it will be crap-tastic.
This is what a Tyler/Elena little girl would look like:

(see, a very very very cute baby)
So, what do you think I should do? Force through a crappy chapter in hopes that it ends up being not crappy, or just write to my little Tyler/Elena hearts content so maybe I can get this pairing out of my head.

The fine line in writing for ff.net
I have a dilemma...I write on fanfiction.net, because that is one of the most popular sites as it offers every pairing out there. My issue is that they are becoming increasingly strict when it comes to "M" rated stories and what is accepted. I have an outtake that is currently 2,500 words with about half of it being lemony, citrusy goodness (for those non-ff writers/readers; this is smut) and I am afraid of it being taken down or my account being frozen.
Do I continue to write the lemons the way I want to, and find an alternate site to post uber-raunchy stuff on, or tame it down for the ff.net masses?

My Thoughts On: Online Dating
Let's face it, it can be hard meeting guys or girls today. It's like everyone you know is already taken, and you never have time to meet anyone new because you constantly have to work. More and more, we are inundated with ads for dating websites. There are websites for everybody now, it seems. There are sites for young people, old people, Christians, those who just want to flirt...the list goes on and on. Maybe online dating is the new way of meeting people, but what happened with good ole face to face interactions? I'm not saying that dating websites are bad, but how can a website know what you want more than you do?
Writers Block: The Issue
Define: Writers Block - "Writers Block is a condition, primarily associated with writing as a profession, in which an author loses the ability to produce new work. The condition varies widely in intensity. It can be trivial, a temporary difficulty in dealing with the task at hand."
I have been dealing with horrible writers block for a few months now and it is driving me insane. The simple process of "writing through it" is not working for me. I can have an idea in my head, but getting it down on paper or on my computer is a completely different thing. It just doesn't seem to happen. Anyone have any ideas for how to get rid of writers block?

Welcome to my blog!
Hi, welcome to my blog! My name is Jessyka and I like to write. I write some fanfiction, and I am also in the process of writing my own book with my best friend. In my spare time, I read as much as possible and I like getting tattoos and listening to awesome music. I'm a jumble of contradictions, but that's why everyone loves me.
